Long ago I learned the lesson that anything planned ahead will surely run astray.. this week was certainly no exception. It was a long haul though and I am happy to report that we made it, and still have most of our faculties left.. well at least most of what we'd had left anyhow..
The entire upstairs of our house has now been moved to a storage container in the driveway at long last. Delivery was delayed twice thanks to Mother nature's snowstorm. We shifted gears and planned accordingly only to get a call early morning on Thursday to say delivery would happen in a few hours.
It was a few days of semi-organized chaos, but we are safe and warm in the hotel and feeling very thankful for those who came out to help us throughout these past few days, our contractor and his wife who not only saved boxes for us but delivered them just about the time we were running out.
Took a brief break near the end of it to scoot down to my creation station and collect supplies to bring to the hotel. Between computers, and Scrapping toys this place is really looking like a playground. Our dogs are cuddled in the middle of the bed surveying the land enjoying a break from the confusion of the last few days..
Watch for my February Newsletter that should be online later tonight, or tomorrow at the latest. Our home phone is now hooked up at the Hotel (gotta love running a VOIP line!) so feel free to give us a holler if you feel so inclined.
