Stampin' Up! Updates ~ Catch Up Time :)

Greetings from Sunny Vancouver Stampin' and Scrappin' Friends :)

As many of you know, I have been out in Vancouver these past several weeks handling my father's affairs while he is in the hospital.  It has been a pretty rough ride, but we're all hanging in there.  Dad has shown much improvement over the past several weeks as well and though it's still a day-by-day thing,  we are hopeful that he will make a full recovery and will be transferred out of the ICU very soon.

Sadly these past several weeks have been unplugged so I have missed many of the Stampin' Up! updates that I would normally send you as they occur.  I thought I'd post here and bring everybody up to speed.  I hope that you all haven't felt too neglected while I've been away.

There is some good news though ~  as of today we have internet at my Dad's place, so I'll be able to keep in better touch while we're still here.  I expect it will be another week or two at least,  though it's tough to plan. The great folks at the hospital are so used to taking everything day by day they are really hesitant to make any longer range plans so that's no help whatsoever in plotting.  I will certainly let everybody know as soon as I know..

This is good news for you guys as well!!   As promised my FREE SHIPPING sale will run right up until my arrive back in Cardinal.  Now that I have internet, you can send your orders to my email (iscrapnstamp@gmail.com)  and I can place them and deduct the shipping amount for you. Of course you can still place your order on my website and I can issue you a credit on a future purchase in the amount of your shipping costs.

Stampin' Up! Updates you may have missed...

COST INCREASE FOR 2-WAY GLUE PEN

June 27, 2012

Due to an unexpected cost increase from our supplier, the cost for the 2-Way Glue Pen will increase from $4.50 as listed in the current annual catalogue to $5.95. This price increase will be applied starting June 27, 2012.

FIRM FOAM STAMPIN' PADS July 5, 2012Basic Black Stampin' Pad  We are working on an issue with the Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad (item 126980). We have discovered that the ink smears when stamped on Whisper White and Very Vanilla Card Stock; however, it still works on the other colors of card stock. We are testing both the ink and card stock. At this time, we do not know when this issue will be resolved and recommend using the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad (item 101406) on Whisper White and Very Vanilla Card Stock. We are working on this daily and will let you know when we have more information. Ink Refills When you use the firm foam pads you get a more solid and crisp image. The firm foam pads hold less ink and release more onto your stamp which means you will need to refill the pad more frequently. Training We want to continue to support you as you sell this new product. As we learn more about the firm foam pads we will post more tips and tricks.

NOTE: DURING QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTING, WE SOMETIMES DISCOVER MINOR DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN WHAT'S ON THE WEEKLY PDF, AND WHAT COMES IN THE DOWNLOAD (THINGS LIKE A DIFFERENT COORDINATING COLOR OR A 6-PIECE STAMP BRUSH SET INSTEAD OF A 5-PIECE). THE DOWNLOAD DESCRIPTIONS IN THE ONLINE STORE REFLECT THE ACCURATE DOWNLOAD DETAILS. OUR MONTHLY MY DIGITAL STUDIO PDF (AVAILABLE THE FIRST WEEK OF EVERY MONTH) ALSO SHOWS THE ACCURATE INFORMATION FOR EACH DOWNLOAD.
