Sign Ups Now Open for Friday Night Midnight Club and Crop - Returning September 11th, 2015

Save the Date! September 11th  6 PM – 12 PM
This club is near and dear to my heart, as it was formed at the request of some of my dear Scrapbooking Ladies who have been with me since I first made the switch from being a hobby demo to teaching classes.

The Midnight Crop runs in conjunction with this club – the club portion lies in the 6 month commitment that entitled you to the extra perks of CLUB.

This club is unique in that not only do you get all of the benefits of the Midnight Crop, and having 6 hours to catch up on your unfinished projects, or work on a project you have on the go, but you also get the perks and bonuses of being a CLUB member as well.  These may include (but are not limited to)  discounts on classes,  and crops outside of club, sneak peeks, advanced notification of sales and promotions offered as well as other perks and treats.

You do not have to join club in order to attend this Midnight Crop - in fact, "Guests" are welcome!  Pay a $25 crop fee, or place an order of $35 or more, and your Crop is FREE.  Space is limited however, so RSVP is required.

To facilitate the productivity of my Scrappin’ Girls who don’t want to be interrupted, but would still like to play with new projects and ideas; your projects will be packed into a convenient package that you can either put together during the Crop, or take away to complete later.

This package will also include a document that you can put away with your crafting supplies that will
Remind you of the products and tools that you used to make this card when you come back to recreate it later.

Class Schedule 2nd Friday night of each month:  6PM – 12PM

Dates for this Friday Night Crop Club are:

Sept 11th – Hostess: Could it be YOU?
Oct  9th -   Hostess: Could it be YOU?
Nov 13th  -   Hostess: Could it be YOU?
Dec 11th  - Hostess: Could it be YOU?
Jan 8th  -  Hostess: Could it be YOU?
Feb 12th  -  Hostess: Could it be YOU?

What is Club? * The Fine Print*

Join for 6 months,  purchase $35 each month and during one of those months you will get all of the hostess perks and benefits plus many other specials from Tammy Wilson.

Club will meet on the 2nd Friday of each month from September to February 2015.  The class will be held from 6PM – 12PM  in my Cardinal Craft Room.  Check my calendar for other "Club" dates,  or contact me to choose a date that works better for you!

Please indicate if you consider yourself more of a Scrapbooker, or Rubber Stamper when you sign up.  Additional “kits” will be available for those who would like to have the best of both worlds.  Please bring your own adhesive or plan to buy some at the start of class.

Want the perks of being in a club but can’t afford the time to stay and play?  Sign up for my To-Go Option!  You’ll still get all of the perks and benefits,  and I’ll pack your projects to go so that you can do them at home at your leisure.  If you prefer, we can also assemble your projects for you!

Need to miss Club night – No problem – Just make sure your order is In before Club night (you can also use the Monthly Hostess code if you prefer) .  Complete your projects at home,  or plan to come out to one of my Open Classes or Crops to work on your “UFO’s” (Unfinished Objects).

Club members receive a discount on all of my classes, and crops outside of their own Club.  First notification of upcoming promotions and sales,  and additional Club-Only perks throughout the course of their membership.  You will also receive copies of all of our current catalogs and idea books for the duration of your membership FREE!

NEW HOSTESS SETS - Get 'em

With the new Holiday Catalog comes some new hostess-only offerings.  The two new stamp sets are available in both wood and clear mount varieties.  The first one is a cute set that I envision in Christmas gift tags.  It is called Christmas Wishes and only costs $13 for the clear mount version and $18 for the Wood Mount one.
The second one is called Mixed Medley.  The set coordinates with 2 punches – the new 1 1/4” scallop circle punch (also in the holiday catalog) and the 3/4” circle punch.  This one was among my first picks because it has year round images that can be used for a variety of occasions.  Cost for this one is just $12 for clear mount and $17 for the wood mount version. I have just ordered this one, and cannot wait to play with it!!

There is also a new digital offering -  Eventful Year Digital Ensemble Disc (128141) – Be ready for any holiday with designed pages, cards and candy wrappers!  20 designer templates, 42 piece stamp brush set, 15 sheets of Designer series paper, and 29 new embellishments.   For just $15 in Hostess Dollars!
If you’d like to get a closer look at the My Digital Studio and this Disc in particular let me know and we can set aside some for you to come out and have a look!  Try before you buy in my air conditioned (Gas Fireplace in winter) studio.  iScrapNstamp  ~ Where Scrap Happens and Play testing is encouraged.  Bring a friend and make it a play date!

If you like the hostess sets, you can get them a couple of ways.
1.  Join A Club!
I have several options for Hostess Clubs and Product Shares but perhaps the most popular is my ScrapNStamp Club!  A fabulous way to have fun and build your collection of toys, stampers and tools without breaking your budget.  Members commit to purchasing a set amount of product each month for a set period (usually $35 a month for 6 months – but I can do other options if there is interest ($50 for 4 months, $20 for 10 months etc).  During one of the 6 months you get to be the hostess and reap all of the benefits of having been a hostess. As an added bonus, you also get attendance at a special club night (crop or private class).  New Clubs are starting monthly, so please contact me if you’d like to join us, or if you have any questions.
All of my Club members receive an additional $5 discount on any other class, or crop that they attend with me outside of their particular club.  Each members also receives new catalogs, and mini catalogs FREE for the duration of their membership.  As well as early-bird offers, and specials especially for you.  My thanks for being a part of my ScrapNStamp family.
2.  Host a party!
Club nights don’t work for you?  Have a craft group or a few friends that you’d like to get together with?  I do in-home workshops to introduce you and your guests to the fabulous art of paper crafting.  Choose a Scrapbook party, a Stamping Party, My Digital Studio or a Big Shot party or speak to me about a particular theme you might like to run with.  At this time of year many are starting to think about Fall Birthdays and Christmas, Holiday and Hanukah cards.  Consider getting a group together to make cards for your wedding or baby shower.  Even the most “non-crafty” person get interested in making their own Christmas cards and your friends will appreciate that you hosted a party to teach them how easy it could be to make their own personalized gifts.
Invite 4 or more friends and I’ll bring the party to you ~ available in your house or mine.  Having trouble settling on a date to get everyone together?  Why not consider a Catalog party ~  You set the deadline, post to email friends, family and colleagues – share via social media networks. (Sorry Canada Only) and collect your orders ~ reap the rewards.
3.  Be your own party!
If you live far away or just don’t want to host an event, you can still qualify for hostess benefits by placing an order of at least $200 in product.  This is a popular option among my long-distance customers as well as some of my die hard regulars.  If your wish list is long and you have the wiggle room in the budget, why not splurge and get your toys and freebies all at once and get it done?  This is a popular option, not only for my long-distance customers, but also for some of my local folks too.  If your wish list is long, it’s a great way to get freebies while buying things you want. If you can swing it, why not spoil yourself all at once.  Of course you’re welcome to invite outside orders from family and friends to increase your spoilings.

Card Share - ScrapNStamp Cafe Card

I thought I'd start out the week by sharing one of the projects we made this past week with one of my ScrapNStamp Cafe groups.

This simple card features the Sizzix embossing template "stripes" (Page 218) on whisper white card stock (the photograph makes it look almost pink - but I assure you it's white!), certainly celery card stock (page 178), certainly celery grosgrain ribbon (page 178) and of course just a little bit of 'bling' in a single pearl accent (page 198).

The tag is punched with our decorative label punch (p 209) and stamped with a sentiment from the Happy Greetings Stamp set which I only just realized is no longer in our catalog - but you can use any sentiment of your choosing.

Would you like to make cards like these? Sign up for one of my ScrapNStamp Cafe Classes to make 2-3 projects. Class is just $20 or FREE with a $35 order placed that night.

SNS Cafe is held monthly in the following timeslots:

1st Tuesday of each month - 1PM - 4PM
2nd Friday of each month - 1PM - 4PM  OR 6PM - 12PM (Midnight Crop Edition)

If one of these dates don't work for you let me know and if there is enough interest we'll set something up.  Of course you could also collect a few friends and have a workshop all your own, and then you get all the hostess benefits!

You may have noticed that these dates also coincide with my Stamper's Clubs and Scrapper's Clubs! I recognize that a club is not for everyone - SNS Cafe is the all of the fun, and none of the commitment.  Come once, or come often - as our guest.  The only difference is that guests are not eligible for hostess benefits.

What is a Club? For a minimum of a 6 month commitment (35.00 each month) or a 10 month commitment ($20 each month) before tax and shipping, you get to build your stash of toys and tools as well as your completed cards and projects.  During one month of your commitment you get to receive all of the benefits of being a hostess.  (Minimum of $35 in products absolutely FREE based on incoming orders).

My next home workshop is set for September 21st in my home in Cardinal, ON. What a great chance to sample some of the new toys and tools from the new catalog, check out my inspiration station and CREATE!

Would you like to sign up for a class or club? Call me, or e-mail me :)

Well Hello Again I must be going...

I set out with my blog to post daily, and then decided that even if I managed to post a few times a week that would be OK with me.  Well I've learned over time that the best way to jinx yourself is often to announce your plan.  For me this week it was telling my teddy bear that I was absolutely not going anywhere that day that I had a list of things that I wanted to get done.  I'd gotten too much of the heat the day before and the idea of staying home suited me just fine.  Sounds good?  Sure!  Did it happen? Oh of COURSE NOT!

My hubby's Mom called and wanted me to come over, which was originally the plan but I'd made the executive decision to stay home and catch up.  In any case, I decided I'd go over and lend a hand and get things done - be home by early afternoon and get cracking on *my* list which included working on my swap cards, cleaning a reptile cage and other assorted "to do's"..

What actually happened wasn't anywhere close to that..

Upon arrival, I climbed the few short steps from the garage to go into the house. That last stair is a bit of a jump up and I always put my braced leg up first - this was no exception - normally I use the railing to help boost myself that little bit to get up over the threshold.  Normally that works..  this time however, I inadvertantly missed the railing but didn't miss the cement floor and connected full force on it by way of my arm and shoulder.

Given my still too recent almost year long "vacation" in hospital, I did NOT want to go to the hospital.  I had been able to sit up and I felt ok (though sore).  I couldn't however muster enough strength to actually get myself up off the floor.  Thank goodness for awesome neighbors; a friend of mine in-laws came in with a friend and had me back on my feet in only moments.

An X-ray Tuesday revealed that I've cracked a rib, so I'm on limited function as far as lifting and lugging for the next several weeks.  I'm so lucky that my teddybear doesn't mind carrying my ScrapNStamp bags cause those can get HEAVY!

I am aware that I had begun promoting a Christmas in July event that ended up getting forgotten in the shufffle and I'm sorry about that.  I am working on a promotion to make up for that.

In the meantime, I'm working on my Swap Cards for 3 Wedding and Anniversary Card Swaps.  I'll try to share those pictures here over the weekend.  Would you like to receive a copy of each of my entries to the swap?  Leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite thing about a wedding Celebration is and I'll draw someone to win!

Thanks to those of you who have e-mailed wondering where I am - it's great to know that you guys notice when I am "missing"..  :)

I'm working on setting up a Craft & Vendor Fair in Cardinal for Oct 1st with all proceeds going to benefit the Food for All Food Bank for more info Email me!

We are still looking for 3 members for a Friday night Stamper's Club, and 4 members for a Tuesday morning Scrapbooker's Club -  Are you interested?  E-mail me for more info..

It's a Beautiful Day, and it's Friday...

...Honestly, what more could I possibly ask for?

Today is a particularly happy day in my world.

After many long weeks of having a shell of a kitchen with very little in it and many many trips back and forth to IKEA to rectify issues with missing pieces, adding on a couple of items and such and then finally finding a warped counter top that too had to be replaced, last night my husband, my father in-law and my brother-in-law were able to get my shiny new sink and dishwasher in place.

There's no water hooked up as of yet.  Turns out that the final smack in the forehead is that the plumbing we bought ahead of the install isn't going to work the way he planned so he's got to make a pit stop on the way home.

I have however, been given many assurances that I shall have water in my kitchen TONIGHT !!!

all I can say at this point is  OH HAPPY DAY!

I am already booking classes and workshops from the end of April and into May.  Please let me know soon if you've got a date picked out so that we can get your name on the calendar before someone snaps it up first.

I will be hosting my first Wednesday Night Stamper's Club on April 27th. I am looking at the following week - May 4th for a Scrapper's Club.  If you'd like more information please feel free to e-mail me or give me a call at home.

Stampin' Up! Ribbon, Buttons and Brads Product Samplers in Canada

I am happy to now offer you product samplers from the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.

I would like to also offer thanks to my good friend and colleague Jenn who gave me permission to make use of her brain power since she'd already worked out the measurements and prices for these packages. She is one of my best friends, and as luck would have it she is also my immediate up-line - I am a lucky lucky woman. :)

Sampler packs are a great way to get a variety of new ribbons, buttons, and brads without having to buy all of them yourself.  We recognize that this isn't something that every budget can handle - so allow me to take the stress out of it for you, and give your creative budget a little more wiggle room.

I will order the items and package them up for you.  Much like our Stampers Clubs and Scrappers Clubs, you are essentially sharing the purchase price
of the sampler with 3 other people.  You get to sample everything, and when you are ready you can come back to buy those things that you loved the most.  What a great way to save a little $$ and get a great variety of product to play with at the same time.

. All sampler orders must be paid in advance via EMT (preferred), PayPal, cash or personal cheque. Please allow two weeks for shipping and packaging.

Prices below are for pick up at my home in Cardinal. Please add $3 extra for delivery within Cardinal or Brockville. If you need the items mailed anywhere else within Canada, I will contact you with the cost of shipping. Please feel free to email me with any questions!  If you are attending my monthly crops here in Cardinal, I can bring them with me! (next crop Feb 9th).

Don't forget when ordering to let me know which sampler(s) you are ordering..
